Collins Tile and Stone was a great place to visit. Our morning started with a browse through the front area and the owner gave a demonstration about natural stone and how it forms underground. Next, we walked into the back show room to see all of the granite that they had to offer. The slabs were of all different colors, and each was as beautiful as the next. We then walked into the shop area where the granite slabs were cut. The machinery involved in cutting the granite is huge! I learned about the process and applications of granite and natural stone.
